Avalon Open Meet...

 

Exciting New Ventures for The Avalon Team!

The clubs involved in running the Avalon Open Meets have decided that the time is right for them to move on and take on new challenges.

What does this mean?

Avalon Open Meets will no longer exist, but there will be new meets in their place.

Frome and Wells and Shepton Mallet swimming clubs are joining forces to run the October and April meets at Millfield under the new name of

Three Towers Open Meet

We can confirm that there will be a level 3 meet at Millfield on 23rd and 24th October and we are just awaiting the final license confirmation before issuing the meet packs.

All three clubs remain hugely indebted to Elaine Gilburt and Phil Blakeman who set up Avalon Open Meet and made it such a huge success.  We hope that as they step down we can continue their vision taking our open meets forward into the future.
